Something stupid

Ok this is embarassing but I did something really really stupid last night.

There's this four-way traffic junction between Wisma Merdeka, Wisma Sabah and Little Italy right? And the lane beside Little Italy is a one-way street right? Well last night I drove right into the Little Italy's one-way lane - from the opposite direction!!! I was coming from Wisma Merdeka's direction (the opposite side of Little Italy) and I was the first one at the traffic light and the moment the light turned green I just drove straight!!! Okay this would probably make better sense if you're familiar with KK but just try to imagine k.

So anyway, it was so weird coz all I remembered thinking was that I needed to go to the bank (which is on the opposite side of Wisma Merdeka) and go home asap. I was tired, having a headache and my brother called earlier asking me to tapau something coz my mum wasn't feeling well. I totally zoned out!

As I entered the one-way lane, then I noticed the arrow pointing directly at me which basically indicated that I'm f*cked! It was too late to change directions and since the road was empty I figured I'd make a quick escape so I kept driving. And as luck would have it, a white car (I think it was white) entered the one-way lane I was on.

*CRAP!!!*

I panicked. I stopped. The car stopped as well - in shock I suppose. We were there for a good 5 seconds then I flashed my light to indicate the car to move slightly coz I was stucked. The car seem to not get it and stood there probably cursing me to high heavens but whatever I needed to move fast. I moved closer to the road shoulder trying to avoid the incoming white car; the car honk. My heart was thumping hard and I just kept screaming 'sorry' 'sorry' in my car but of course he/she/they can't hear me.

And then there were more honking! I looked for the source of the noises and there they were - 2 buffed-looking police traffic riding their big bikes looking at me; fuming! I just screamed 'sorry' and continued driving. I managed to slide in-between the white car and the roadside railing but I hit the white car's side mirror slightly! Panicked, I just drove off! I looked at my side mirror, no car nor any policemen was trailing me so I just drove away.

My hands were trembling!

I stopped in front of the bank and stayed there for a good 5 minutes trying to calm down and thanked God profusely for not letting anything bad happened or get out of hand (Thank you GOD!). Man that was really scary and really stupid of me.
